Aimee Berger-Girvalo Joins Lt. Governor, Experts to Discuss Small Business Relief and Recovery Amid COVID-19 Pandemic


RIDGEFIELD, C.T. — Tomorrow, Aimee Berger-Girvalo, Democratic candidate for Connecticut House of Representatives in the 111th District, will participate in a Small Business Forum featuring a discussion of Connecticut’s economic outlook, resources for CT’s small businesses, and a Q&A with experts. The forum, which starts October 8 at 7 pm, will also feature Lt. Gov. Susan Bysiewicz, First Selectman Rudy Marconi, nationally-renowned economist Dr. Nick Perna, and Downtown Ridgefield Board President Mary Jones via Zoom.

As small businesses continue to struggle amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Berger-Girvalo has promoted the work of local businesses throughout the district and proposed policy solutions to provide them with immediate support.

Aimee Berger-Girvalo is an advocate and dedicated community volunteer who has lived in Ridgefield for 15 years. She has managed multi-million dollar, corporate businesses, including working as a General Manager for Gap Inc., and currently works in special education programs as an Applied Behavior Analysis Therapist. For more than a decade, she has been the director and coach of the Ridgefield Holland Soccer program, a volunteer-run program that enables children with physical and learning differences to participate in the sport. Berger-Girvalo has raised her two children in Ridgefield, both attending public schools.
