Amiee Berger-Gervalo has earned my support to serve another term as Ridgefield’s representative to the Connecticut State legislature. During her first term Amiee has continually supported legislation to improve the health and welfare of Connecticut’s senior citizens. She supported and worked for the passage of House Bill 5506 which allows pharmacists and doctors to work together to adjust medication without requiring in-person visits, to continue the telehealth care option and makes $12M available for tobacco prevention and cessation. She supported the accessory housing bill which allows accessory apartments on single family lots providing affordable housing for aging parents and newly independent young adults.
Amiee also worked to reduce taxes on pensions for retirees. I feel this is just the beginning for Amiee and with another term as our State Representative she will continue to work to create legislation that will benefit all the residents of Ridgefield.
