THANK YOU FOR HELPING AIMEE QUALIFY
111th District State Representative Aimee Berger-Girvalo, representing Ridgefield, has qualified for Connecticut’s Citizens Election Program (“CEP”) in advance of nomination for reelection, closing out her fund-raising efforts for the 2024 election cycle. CEP ensures clean, fair elections in Connecticut and requires a minimum number of in-district contributors and total dollar contributions, both of which Berger-Girvalo comfortably exceeded.
Berger-Girvalo noted the occasion, saying, “Thank you to everyone who has contributed to my reelection campaign, the vast majority of whom are my neighbors and constituents across Ridgefield. I am beyond grateful for the outpouring of support, and honored by the generosity you have shown me, in campaign contributions, endorsements, well-wishes, and time. Reaching this milestone with small dollar, local contributions demonstrates that my work in Hartford on behalf of Ridgefield has positively impacted and is appreciated by the people of Ridgefield that I feel so privileged to represent in the Connecticut General Assembly.
Ridgefield residents who are registered Democrats residing in the Connecticut House of Representatives’ 111thDistrict (composed of all of Ridgefield except the extreme southwest corner of town) will caucus on May 28, at 7:30 pm, at Ridgefield Town Hall, lower level large conference room, 400 Main St, Ridgefield, to formally nominate the Democratic candidate for the 111th district seat. With strong support across town and across party lines, it is expected State Representative Berger-Girvalo will receive nomination at that time. State Representative Berger-Grivalo and her campaign encourage all 111th District Democrats to participate in the caucus.
